How my journey began

Throughout the evolution of my practice, I emphasized the importance of health and the Holy Trinity of wellness: balance of mind, body, and a spiritual practice of any kind. I teach people to look inward and stop relying on external things to feel better, promoting a sustainable approach to wellness. In 2016, I furthered my education by becoming a health coach, and in 2023, I completed a two-year education in Functional Medicine. This allows me to delve deeper into helping clients by addressing the root causes of dis-ease rather than just treating symptoms. My focus is now on gut health and detoxification, bringing my work full circle and illuminating the Holy Trinity of wellness.

I am dedicated to helping you raise your wellness vibe and am honored by the trust my clients place in me. My commitment is to introduce you to your true, authentic self because you are more than you think. Let’s start this journey together, and I will guide you toward discovering your genuine self and enhancing your wellness.

I began my career as a psychotherapist in 1996, working in addiction and mental health clinics. Over time, I specialized in trauma and the brain-body connection, focusing on how trauma affects the central nervous system. I conducted numerous groups and training sessions on the fight/flight/freeze response and the various ways people self-medicate to cope with trauma. By educating my clients, I helped many start to heal and move away from "external" coping mechanisms. Teaching the importance of a sense of purpose was also a critical component of my work.

After several years in this rewarding field, I transitioned to a position as a project director and program developer, assisting the homeless mentally ill in obtaining safe and sometimes supervised housing. In 2004, I started a part-time private practice, which grew into full-time self-employment by 2014. In my practice, I developed the "Little Red Wagon" concept, helping clients explore childhood events that left marks or scars. This process creates awareness of these events, their origins, and how they impact functioning and decision-making. I even keep a little red Radio Flyer wagon in my office as a visual aid to prompt the question, "What's in your wagon?"
